Hi everyone I thought this might interest everyone who is interested in Social Media - we are 2 months into the publicity campaign for the show www.tattooo.com.sg and some amazing results The coupling of distribution of a single press release via social media and a facebook group has achieved the following in 2 months:

* 1900 direct links for the search term "1st Singapore Tattoo Show" on google http://tinyurl.com/5tyr6v
* 2820 direct links for the search term "Singapore Tattoo Show" on google http://tinyurl.com/5zqwsm
* Traditional Media (Print/Radio) almost daily making contact for news items
* Internet TV Opportunity for a 12 episode documentary styled series - filming starts this week coming
* Channel News Asia Media Interview scheduled for 8th January 2009
* Channel U Creative Colours of Singapore Production in 2009
* Bloggers taking my content and re-distributing
* Bloggers making their own unique entries
* Our facebook Group growth to 1500+ members http://tinyurl.com/5pgarg
* What started as sole activity by us of adding content to the facebook group talking to new members, became almost overnight a flood of members doing their own contributions and communicating with each other.
* Malaysian Tattoo Club of almost 1000 members have invited me to assist run their facebook Group & Social Media
* Singapore Tattoo Club of almost 500 members have invited me to assist run their facebook Group & Social Media
* Discovery of other facebook groups relating to tattoos - one that has 63000 members and infiltrating these groups
* Imagery is a key factor in the Tattoo Industry - Video & Photo - most members have this type of content to contribute
* Massive increase in ticket sales for the organizer online and at outlets
* Consistent increase in traffic to their website
